A real time baptism for their first tour of Naty and her Kett vélocouchistes with Lyon. Like a happy and never alone, we also had the pleasure of welcoming as Razemochette and yellow Baron came to bring a ray of sunshine in this cloudy day. In total we therefore 6 (companions) for this release: Chtite Moo and Kett, and Xael on Catrike Speed, Naty and her Kett + Teff ICE Q26, Razemochette by Baron and QNT M 20/20. A small trial of Baron (thank you to its owner) on the docks to see that this low racer is one of the easiest to learn, and turns better than the QNT I had taken because of rain.

From Guillotière, we went back to the Parc de la Tête d'Or where we have almost strictly respected speed limits as to fail to create a "slow up" (even the scooters we doubled) . We then spun to Miribel via Doua, but I did not suffisammant legs to maintain the pace of Baron Razemochette nor that Alex, despite the sabotage of her derailleur before ...

History of our frames can be hung safely despite the crowd, it is 5 upright bikes as we left just one face side of the observatory Vaise side to get to the start of the race soapbox held in Lyon on Sunday. Beautiful mounted elsewhere, to repeat (without child seats argggg ...) ...

On the race itself we arrived early enough at the outset but it was difficult to advance much before the crowd. Fortunately, the children were able to admire the cars and it seems they have t he really liked. If you also want photos, take a look here ...

We left an hour after fleeing the influx of spectators .... influx has also led the commercial company arranging this event to cancel the race shortly thereafter. Pity that such a specialist comm 'to let well beyond ... The race strategy was simple: to bottom all the time, the very beautiful material to begin with, and runners who seemed sharp ... I tried to leave their pace since with a departure every 30 seconds, it can see who is ahead. My goal was not to make me double ... The course well signposted and marked (distance covered by or go was easy to follow) gave want to drive fast. After the first kilometer still not seeing too large ribs and I just whipped in the first run I was catching two runners ahead of me. But much less the results were announced:
finally 40.6 on average and a place of unexpected 3rd among recumbents. The Viper is far ahead at over 44 km / h. .. but has completed his tour in more than 16 minutes anyway! This gives a good mind to come back next year, especially if Olivier25 me the day before will benefit from its raffle prize won at the watch and cons of going to dinner at Fat Father!
