Soon the streets, roads and mountain bikes will be Opus 2011 ... And I began the sketches of the 2013 bikes! It's maddening. Everything goes so fast. It makes me live in my shoes before (thankfully not next, though ..). Time is running at full speed.
And my painting is idling. Each painting becomes an effort, not suffering, not difficult, but unlike the frenzy of the previous series, this new series starts Slowly, surely, and I believe firmly.
This figurative form requires more thinking, more of gestation in each canvas. This makes them more unique perhaps. Although any fabric is unique. But there is less the effect of serial repetition. Each image appears as a result of reflection and research. I think never having seen all that surrounds me. Before, I let out instinctively ghostly images. This was even the basis of my pictorial approach. Now it's much more to see things, objects through their own memory. New thing, I see my paintings before they exist. I earn images. I collect information. All these visual pieces will form a long frame stories and anecdotes. Anyway, I hope these paintings will trigger memories, visual, sensory, olfactory and why not.
Not much to show for now, but so many images in my head. They must leave. It remains to find time, energy and perhaps a better place ...
