sand washing
Difficult week for setting up the system for water treatment. Many shops closed for the Khmer New Year, the long and tedious washing of sand and gravel. And finally a first choice Sandy too late! No problem: 2 m3 washed sand which mobilized the whole world for three days knocked down in less than two hours.
Big dilemma: how to find sand on available and appropriate, during the holidays? Denis has mobilized all its contacts in Cambodia, has returned twice PhnomPehn visited sites of water treatment and finally found our ideal sand!
Now time is running out. Fortunately the other work involved have taken the lead:
- the layout of the plumbing is complete
- support the new aspiration is completed (welded with local material!)
- the power cables for pumps are drawn and installed.
We had the pleasure to participate in the Khmer New Year celebrations in nearby villages. Great moments. Thank you to the villagers for their hospitality!
The cook of the school is on holiday ... then a special dedication to Claire and her delicious fries.
This weekend the team traveled to Angkor to visit its beautiful temples.
